In your mind today, write God a thank you. Why a thank you letter? Simply because He deserves it.
Thank you, two little words that mean so much and can make a world of difference. Thank you for holding the door. Thank you for buying me lunch. Thank you for the email. Thank you for simply being there. Those words mean an awful lot when said at the right moment. Thanks-a word showing gratitude for what a person has done. You-meaning personal, the individual. "No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT) So even in the not so good times we should give thanks also. When we don't have any money in our pockets, a special someone in our lives, the home we want, the job we want, still give thanks. But be encouraged, God knows everything. He's omnipresent. He knows what we need when we need it. For He knows the plans He has for us, not to harm us but to prosper us, to give us a hope and a future. So keep the faith, and give thanks. In saying thanks, God knows you appreciate Him. Everyone likes to be appreciated. He wants us to be thankful enough that if we don't get everything else, we're grateful that's He done so much for us already.
